E in :-:E T H E E P o C H JUNHDR CLASS HBTGRY Our class entered high school two years ago only as Pages. Xlie were very green, hut we were determined to learn the rules and to play the game square, XYe survived the first year and at the heginniug of the second, we learned that we were to receive the title of Squires. Most of us used this year to get our majors and minors, however, we took part in clubs and haskethall and had several Squires on the hoys' first team as regulars or suhs and a num- her of Ladies on the girls' team. The Ladies won the inter-class tournament and were awarded a crimson and gold hanner which now hangs in the assembly. A This is our third year in high school and we are now Knights. Wie are going to do our hest in athletics and social activities, as well as make good grades. The Knights won the inter-class tournament this year, and we hope that the Ladies will win, too. XYe also have much work before us, that of giving' the Nohles a real farewell, hut we are going to stick to our task and make it a success. livery class must have a share Of honors now and then. The -lunior Class is always there And Ed is leading them. ln baskethall they rule supreme, A-Xs a class they're full of pluck. .Xs our successors. here we deem To wish them Best of luck. -XY. C. SOPHOMORE HBTORY As we are Squires tSophoinoresl now and have passed our infant year in high school, we feel somewhat like upper classmeu, .X year ago a class that we thought was the hest class that ever entered high school came over from the .luuior Heh School. The upper classmen had different ideas. and since they considered us green and only Vages, we had to take their punish- ment. This was rather hard at tirst, hut what is life hut a series of up's and down's ? XYe are now in our second year and doing well. Vie are looking' forward to the time when we shall he Nohles, dignified Seniors. The Nobles of the Class of 3l expect to do great things in the future and hope to leave a record which will he difficult for our followers tu surpass. Eajzzzzssmuzzzxnnzzm 1 9 2 9 Page thirty-two
