Tiger Day The pepfest and snake dance Thursday evening, October 13, touched off the spark to the 1950 Homecoming Tiger Day, which was filled with thrills and excitement. The Sophomores won float honors with their orange and black tiger float ln the parade. The Tigers really showed their fangs by defeating the South Shore Comets 36-18 in the afternoon football game. i 1 are The grade school children gave a program at the school in the evening, followed by the coronatlon of the King and Queenf. Robert Burns and Jo Ann Law received the majority of penny votes and so were crowned the 1950 royalty. The carnival presented by the students at the Prom theatre that evening attracted a large number of people. 10
