Students enjoy OEA Semi- Formal The annual 0.E.A. Semi-Formal was held in the J.E. Ober Auditorium on Nov. 4, 1980. Unlike previous years, the dance’s theme was that of Autumn instead of Winter. The Auditorium was decorated with pumpkins and cornstalks and the entranceway was highlighted with fall colored streamers to accent the ‘‘Harvest Sunset’’ theme. The band Southroad provided the evening’s entertainment and door prizes were awarded during intermission. Max Hambidge of Hambidge House of Photography photographed the couples attending the dance. Kathy Sims, Anita Baidinger and Joan DeKonick were nominated for Miss 0.E.A. Queen, Joan DeKonick was crowned the winner by Wendy Maggert, 0.E.A. Vice- President. The Semi-Formal again provided couples with an evening of dancing and romancing. 12 SEMI-FORMAL UPPER LEFT—Missy Van Ort and Bob Putt take a break during the dance.
