Speech, composition, English literature, journalism, and basic grammar are subjects offered, Business English, an addition to the English department, was offered to high school students this year. This course emphasized the grammar necessary for those interested in office work. In-class activities such as plays and other dramatic presentations added interest. Enacting the journeys of Canterbury Tales are: the knight, Craig Thorne; the yeoman, Fern Dame; and the prioress, Tina Berg.
