Spring Activities Keep Everyone Busy Don Cattell, Wayne Funk, Carolyn Myers, and Mary Kay Yoder discuss the merits of scholastic achieve¬ ment at the first banquet for junior high honor stu¬ dents last spring. The Class of 1965 are together for the last time before they step out into life on their own. - ■ft-- ' The end of the year is a busy time at Garrett High School, Class picnics and traditional banquets are scheduled at every opportunity. The Junior-Senior Picnic at Pokagon is the highlight. It is given the last week of school by the seniors as a thank-you for the banquet. The last week of school is crowded with examinations for the underclass¬ men. They look forward to the summer vacation, knowing they will return next fall. The seniors are busy with graduation activities. These ceremonies are the end of high school for them and the beginning of new responsibility to the future. The arrival of the Aeolian is marked by the Aeolian record hop. Everyone autographs the treasure and little dancing is done.

THIRD ROW: Cindy Carper, Cyndy Brechbill, Phil Heitz, Steve McGrath, Roxanne Isenbarger, Pam Dirr, Dave Clark, and Margo Januseski. “Once Upon a Time,” Theme of Banquet On April 30th, the juniors and seniors entered the world of make- believe and fantasy. The theme of the Banquet was Once Upon A Time . The co-chairmen of the event were Nancy Capin and Tom Stebing. The entertainment was provided by exotic Polynesian dancers and Dick Seeger ' s band played dance music. After the banquet everyone enjoyed the informal all-night party. The remainder of the week-end was spent at the lake. Polynesian dancers provided exotic entertainment at the Banquet. It was enjoyed and excepted by everyone. The senior girls help Cindy Lewis pull her sleeping bag from the lake, at a party after the banquet.
