Basketball Queen Crowning) Jo Ellen Moses, Basketball Queen for 1964-65 receives a congratulatory kiss from co-captain Steve Smith. The 1964-65 Basketball Queenwas crowned on January 29 during an impressive half-time ceromony at the Fremont-Garrett game. The queen was chosen from five candidates who were all seniors. The reserve and varsity basketball players picked the five candidates and all students in grades nine through twelve were eligible to vote for their choice for queen. Jo Ellen Moses captur ed the Basketball Queen title, and she received a crownand adozenred roses from co-cap- tains Steve Smithand BuzzSteward.
