Under the guidance of facul¬ ty manager, Paul Bateman, the newly-organized golf team had a successful ’55 season; they won 9, lost 2, and tied 1. The team won the NEIAC golf championship and, hy placing third in the sectional, were eligible to take part in the state tournament.
