CLASS PROPHECY I ' m the gypsy at the fair, To me come people from everywhere. And as I sit in my canvas tent, Upon the future my eyes are bent. D. Hollis does not have to pull on a harrow, In an escort bureau she shoots Cupid ' s arrow. Woody Trostel is now a night-club owner, And, just like old times, he has pulled no boner. First I take you over the sea To Africa and Beverly. Wansitler is exploring the jungle, Her search for treasures she won ' t bungle. Colleen Williams has her pros and cons, For she is queen of the Amazons. In France we find Champ Heavyweight Ross, While taking time out she embroiders with floss. Over in London we stop and linger To hear Betty Andrews, the famous singer. The Queen ' s new designer is a bright spark. To create her gowns she has Mary Lou Clark. In London ' s Palladium we find Ralph Baker, As the world ' s top comedian he is no faker. Ruth Mettert is honored, for her the bells ring, For she is the one who has named the thing. Back in New York the weather is bitter, Still Dolan won ' t quit as a flag pole sitter. Our friend, V. Christlieb, drinks plenty of cider, And then does her stuff as a daredevil rider. Doug Zimmerman has a nice job to do, He educates monkeys for Brookfield Zoo. When Humpty Dumpty has a great fall, Call Steigmeyer for some old Hadacol. Retha Bloom hsa done herself proud as you ' d guess. First woman President of our own U.S. Glen Camp has now the deck to swab, In his sailor suit he ' s a right cute gob. J. Andrews also has done quite well, She is a pianist in a famous hotel. The ' Busco turtle has a new home and name, He ' s called to meals now by handsome Dick Dame. Gwynn Wade is such a successful housewife, She teaches new brides how to run hubby ' s life. Rex Simon is now a friendly mortician, Who gives Digger O ' Dell his worst competition. The girls in Girls School have all they can do, To hang on to their men when Schmidt is in view. Our friend George Tuttle is a Garrett M. D. , A dealer of sickness and doubt is he. At Princeton George Mayfield has a chair, Old Einstein the Second they call him up there. Professor Moratz is a well-known speaker, He still can ' t decide which sex is the weaker. Baumgardner, of course, does something new- He ' s the dean of women at old P. U. Bill Leech has plenty of do-re-mi, He ' s now a professional golfer, you see. George Wappes does not stop with being a baker, He went on to become a famous homemaker. Our Maxine Walt is a shy housewife, To knit by the fire is the joy of her life. J. Schulthess, the actress, never is lonely, At her show Turtle Dove there is standing room only. Kick your heels, says the man, and he speaks not in jest, For training the Rockettes is what Richard does Best. Bernice Stroh is posing for pretty Cheesecake. A movie star now, she won ' t have to bake. At the Met Eugene Shaffer sings high and sings low, To hear him croon now costs you plenty of dough. K. Heinzerling keeps a dude ranch with zest, If you know what you ' re doing, young man, go West. S. Helbert has made a new rocket ship, And to the moon makes a daily round trip. About Kenneth Hollis you need not worry, To earn his bread he removed Arthur Murray. All day Mary Hilkey is singing a song, She is the proud ma of a small Hopalong. Frank Mossberger coaches P. Como so dear, When Perry sings now you must plug your ear. Beth Crager ' s a housewife who handles the mops, Her husband and children think she is the tops. Of Mitchell we ' ve lost all trace and all track, On Mars, say the rumors, she ' s driving a hack. Pat Hall is a sarge and wears Army rig, Better answer that call or you ' ll land in the brig I have been told by many a friend (??) That this sort of thing should come to an end.
