Theg more popular colleges seniorsQ chose were Emporia, K-State, K.U.,Q Iola, and Pittsburg. According to Mrs. Phyllis Cobbs, it's a good idea to choose a college based on one's needs, such as the goal standards a person sets for him or herself, what they want to become, and one's financial position is. When graduation time arrived, 30 sen- iors decided to seek full-time em- ployment. Some planned to stay around Garnett, while others wanted to journey to other places. Farming, working in oil fields, con- struction work, and office work were a few of the professions that were chosen. I don't like to study, and I think I can find a good paying job without a college education.
