Second row J Sobba George Tush R Sobba Baker, Akers, Kent Jones student manger Larry Mowat Third row Coach Raymond Meyer Wellman, I Mader L Mader, Strain Hunt, assistant coach Ehnon Xehick BASKETBALL Closing out the regular season Wlth four straight vlctorles the Bulldogs galned a second place tie wlth Eu reka in the Tri Valley league by de featlng them ln their final league game Neodeshas powerful quintet was the league champion In a four team Christmas Tourna ment held at Madison the Bulldogs Pureka and defeating Florence Eu xeka won the tournament by beating Madlson The Bulldogs cooled off in the dis- trict and regional tournaments They lost to Humboldt by two points In the finals in the d1StI'lCt to take sec ond place Humboldt agam defeated them in the finals of the regional This gave Garnett three second place Garnett's overall record was 13 wins and 9 losses, for a fairly suc- cessful season. On the Tri-Valley league all-star team, the Bulldogs placed two men, Carl Strain and Loren Mader. BASKETBALL LETTERS Basketball letters were awarded to nine boys.
