Editoris Note Publishing any yearbook is a difficulttask. The 1966 L'ECOLE was no exception. Only with the co-operation of a coimtless number of individuals, did this yearbook finally become a reality. It is only proper for me to here recognize a few of the many people who contributed to the pub- lication of the 1966 L'ECOLE . . . The members of my staff, for their never-ceasing spirit of enthusiasm and constant drive, for their persistence when the work seemed most difficult. Many Thanks to Wayne Sexton, an efficient working companion, and excellent Business Manager, and to Mrs. Hendrickson for her help with the business staff. Mr. Sanders and the faculty for their co-operation and patience through many class inter- ruptions. A very special note of appreciation to the members of the faculty who had the burden of choosing outstanding seniors. The many members of the student body not on the staff who assisted greatly by offering their time and talents to make posters, identify pictures, and give helpful suggestions. The business firms and people of the community for their support and encouragement offered through the buying of advertisements. Thanks to those parents who permitted the staff to conduct many lengthy meetings in their homes, to my parents for their understanding and tolerance. Last, but by no means least, I would like to offer my sincerest gratitude to Jerri Burgess, my assistant editor, and Mr. Leo Kelly, advisor, for their patience, many helpful suggestions, and countless words of encouragement. Without them the task would have been insurmountable. The 1966 L'ECOLE is a publication of the Senior Class for students of Garner High School. If it is acceptable to the student body, then we, the staff, have been successful in our efforts. 192
