STUDENT COUNCIL Student Council membership is made up of eight oflicers who are elected by the student body in the spring prior to the year they serve, and of a representative and an alternate chosen from each homeroom. Through this organization the ideas for improvement of the school itself, its functions, and its influence can be channeled from students to the faculty. It is the duty of each council member to present a good example to the rest of the student body, by which means school spirit and school ideals are hoped to be maintained.
