vX.'g.U EEREGA.'LNI AY' Great American Day was held October 31, 1984, and it was a special day for all the elementary students. The purpose was to honor the many great Americans from the past. Each elementary student participated by making a poster with a patriotic theme. Many students dressed up in costumes por- traying historic Americans. Awards and ribbons were presented in each class for the best costumes and posters. Mike Stewart patrols the chapel aisles Officer training class at G.C.A.? Joel Hatton portrays Ben Franklin.

The day that all elementary students look for- ward to came on May 17th. The students an- ticipated an afternoon of proving their prowess at running, kicking a football, throwing a softball and even jumping rope. Many parents came to watch their child experience the thrill of victory, or the agony of defeat. The highlight of field day was the tug-of-war competition which seemed as though it would never end.
