N.. . ff N T The Choir sings at a nearby nursing home. 'B if ,nen A , . ws ffff, The boys listen as Denise Dunlap sings. This year the choir did a tremendous job in representing our school. Mr. Phil Phyillaier has been the choir director at G.C.A. for three years and has taken them on tour each year. This year marked the first time the choir went out of state on tour. They performed in seven schools in Oklahoma and Texas. The program consisted of three sections: American Freedom, Humor, and Spiritual. The choir also received a ranking of I in the Spring Festival, which is the highest a group can receive. Above: Terry Minton and Jimmy Bruno are two Senior choir members. A.SSEHlW.HTLnEE3S Johnny Perkins was one of the senior M.C.'s this year. ff-9 Julie Hulin performs an exciting piece on the piano. Above Flight: The Middle School Choir sings joyfully unto the Lord. Laura Quin performs her interpretation of The White Cliffs of Dover. This year G.C.A. incorporated fine arts assemblies into the school schedule. The administration began these for several reasons. The main reason was to teach the students an appreciation for some of the finer things of life and to teach them how to re- spond to performances by others. Assemblies also allowed students to be involved in the school ac- tivities and gives them an opportunity to develop their talents for the Lord. 103
