English English Benefits Students Mr. Reich devotes time to students. Dickens, Hawthorne, Shake- speare are all familiar names to the English student. Studying works of these men and others provide the student with a comprehensive background in literature. Reading difficulties are ap- proached realistically using the laboratory method and individual- ized instruction. Success has been measured by the student's over all improvement in reading speed and comprehension. Grammar also plays an important part in the study of the English language. ln keeping with the dy- namic characteristics of the lan- guage, our analytical techniques are continually changing. For this reason new grammar textbooks are being used this year. Personalities are broadened in the study of English, which benefits the student throughout his future.
