Principal s Message Our fall semester of 1960 has been a very suc- cessful one in spite of some difficulties. While classes have been larger and some activities have been curtailed, I feel that our accomplishments have not, in general, reflected a loss of educational standards. Members of the graduating class have met their responsibilities as leaders in the school in a very satisfactory manner, and I am sure will go on to high school and achieve success. A. C. Baxter President s Message As the final preparations for our graduation are completed, we, the class of fall, 1960, wish to take time out to thank Mr. Baxter and the ever- patient faculty for their guidance and instruction which we now realize as being so very important in our future lives. We will always have pleasant memories of our three years at Garfield, and we hope that all the memories of us will be just as pleasant. It is my personal hope that the members of this class will use the knowledge they have gained in the past three years to make themselves useful and responsible citizens in our community.
