Not having an auditorium in which to hold programs and grad- uation has been inconvenient, but in spite of the difficulties involved we have had some very fine programs. Our graduating class has entered into school activities with a great deal of enthusiasm and the accomplishments have been very satisfactory. We have generously supported the Community Chest, the P.-T.A. Membership Drive, the Christmas Food Drive, and the Junior Red Cross Christmas pack- age contributions. These drives, together with our student body card and " Gleaner " sales, have rounded out a very active semester. I hope that the graduati ng class will go on to high school and enter into their activities as en- thusiastically as they have at Garfield. I also wish for them much success and happiness in their new school experience. PRESIDENT ' S MESSAGE We, the class of Fall, 1951, have now completed our three years at Garfield and are ready to graduate. During those three years we have made many friends and learned many things. Before we leave we should like to thank our teachers, Mr. Phillips, Mr. Baxter and all others who have helped us at this stage of our education. Because of them we feel that we are now completely prepared for senior high school. Gordon Benner A. C. Baxter
