Three short years ago you, as carefree lOth graders, tripped up the steps into the buildings that are Garfield High, and into the lives of faculty and administration. We have now spent six wonderful semesters together, and have corne to know one another rather well, even in such a brief tirne. We are happy for the opportunity to have met you, and to have been able to work together with you, knowing that your stay was short and that you would not pass this way again. We are better for having known you. It is our earnest prayer that you have not been disappointed in us, that you have never been misled by any thoughtless word or careless act on our part, that you have found in each of us some of the inspiration and guidance that you sought and rightfully expected of us, that you are now safely on the road that will lead toward a happy, purposeful, and useful life. D. RAYMOND BROTHERS, Principal
