SENIOR LOG O SENIOR FUN A SENIOR A I-IOMEROOM The bell is rungg Seniors file in. 151 is hlled with din. The gavel sounds, The Prexy speaks, Attention my friends, Stop your squeaksf' The Bulletin is read, Announcements are made. Mrs. Capps completes her talk, And Seniors again begin to squawk. The bell is rung, The Seniors File out, Glad of the end of I-Iome Room, no doubt. ALICE Gusr if if ll! IK ESSAY ON SENIOR AYES HERE are many reasons why Senior Ayes are sometimes thought to be snobbish. Per- haps it is that we do not wish to force the gravity of our years upon the playful innocence of the un- dergraduates, perhaps it is because we are such a soulful lot we go around with our heads in the clouds, or perhaps it is because we know so much that the silly prattle of the lower classes does not affect us. However just or unjust the accusation, we come to this point: Our time in the clouds is nearly over. We have worked to get there fplayed tool and we have been happy there. We shall probably come down to earth with a great big bang. and perhaps you will hear no more about us for a few years until the day when we will all be presi- dents and senators, doctors and lawyers, teachers and journalists. ditch diggers and street sweepers. BETTY IANE OSBORNE. W'35 if if Ill Ili Fred: Of course. I know marriage is a grave step. Dad: My dear lad, it's a flight of steps, and every one of them greased. Ill if if IK Mr. Peterson: VVhat is spring fever? Fred F.: NVhen the iron in your blood turns to lead.
