During the lunch periods, A.B. members can be seen strolling about the surrounding community carrying out their important duties. Some of the actively functioning committees of the Boys' Club include checking of automobiles and grounds, ticket sales and pep assemblies. Mr. Cribley, advisor, offers his valuable guidance. I MR. LESLIE CRIBLEY, ART KONO Advisor President BIIYS' PON entering Garfield every boy becomes a member of the Boys' Club. This is his first step toward taking part in school activities. Through the leadership of three elected officers, an Advisory Board, Bulldog Club, and the various committees, many functions are carried out. Some of these include the sale of book covers, skating parties, and a faculty Christmas party. But none of these functions could take place without the valuable support of Boys' Club members. GIRL MILDRED BELL Advisor JUDY GOSLIN President VALERIE CHINN First Vice-President N THE first day of school, the Girls' Club greets each new girl with o Big Sister . This is their first proiect of the year, serving as an ideal introduction to Garfield and to the Girls' Club. In October every girl is given an opportunity to sign up for one of the many committees, the purpose being to include as many girls as possible. Through these committees a girl is able to function as an active member of the Girls' Club.
