K. x or WENTY-EIGHT years ago, three-hundred students laid the cornerstone of the then known East High Studio. As these young, energetic minds realized the infinite possibilities of devel- opment in the field of the motion-picture industry, they worked with strong determination for recognition. Finally, their efforts led to an expansion, necessitating a new building, which was named Garfield Studio. Only through capable, patient and constructive producers and directors could the growth have been so great in so brief a time.
