'ADVANCED I INTERMEDIATE C BEGINNERS the playtield was a melee ot teminine tly-chasers. The girls concentrated especially on putting a curve into their pitches ancl increasing their speed as they rounded the bases atter hitting a home run. With bats swinging, balls winging, and hearts singing, the games get underway. BASEBALL WAS TOPS with the girls this year tor TENNIS, BADMINTON, and ping pong comprise the minor sports. All were enthusiastically participated in by the girls. The teathered pill was seen flying about in the gym as girls turned out en masse tor badminton on Tues- day nights. The tennis courts were tilled with would-be Helen Willses on Wednesday nights. The cellulose pill was served ond smashed back and torth by ping pong tons on Thursday nights. For every match which a girl won she received titteen points toward her Big G. Girls track has always been considered ci minor sport also, but the large turnout this year signified its growing popularity. The cinder track received ci stitt work-out as feminine sprinters proved their versatility in discus throw- ing, relay running, and rope climbing.
