WESTERN HILLS The Garfield Griffins opened their T959 season by beating Western Hills 28-20. The outlook for the season seemed to be very good as Garfield's speedy backs C a rn p b ell, Whiteside and Bradbury scored on runs of 4, 6, 55 yards respec- tively. Western Hills scored once in the third quarter to rnalce the score 20-14. Garfield then put on a 70 yard drive with Camp- bell going over from the 3 for the score and extra point.
