Years have passed since then. Those graduates have made their own ways in the world. This sum mer, after fifty years, the Governor was called in, speeches were given, refreshments were served, and the building re-dedicated. All this “hoopla0 for a tattered, faded old building, its appearance changed and out-dated. It is not the most visully appealing high school in Montana. Somet3.roes it is even snickered at by visitors, or even residents. Though the paint may be peeling, the plaster cracked, che boiler always on the °fritz , plus the inevitable evidence o'f destructive kids, GCHS has always given its students a unique experience, a quality of education not found in other schools. This good old school building has seen us through 50 years and we are looking at better years to come. Or course, the addition of two pop machines and a student phone was a step in the right direction. l
