HOME TO US For us, home means Garfield County. The smell of sage by a lonely butte. The wind in the pines along the “breaks”. The glassy smoothness of Fort Peck Lake on a summer The smoke of a bonfire in the trees on a spring night. It’s cruising the streets in a pickup truck or shooting some pool in the Dorm basement. It’s doing a skit with Jack and Kathy at Young Life or playing UNO with Mom and Dad. Dad talking about the days work, Mom waiting up ’till you come in at night. The kids squabbling over the TV set. Your brother borrowing your favorite cassette. For us. home means Garfield County. The friendly people and our sincere friends. Whom we hate to leave, But shall always remember to the end!

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE I welcome the opportunity to pause and reflect on the Remuda, which is the record of Garfield County High School, for the year 1981-82. As you read and re-read this record I hope all my best wishes are unfolding with all the promise you have shown in this school year.
