actually in school--on the same day! Cindy G. I fated an excuse to go to the office and just happened into the Home Ec. room as we went by. They had made the most lus- cious smelling Mexican food and fenny, Rhonda, Anita, June were at the head of the line, filling their plates. Second period I waited to Home Ec. with Jeanne, but we didn’t cook. We just listened to a lecture by Mrs. Bray and smelled the aroma of Mexican food. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Juanita, Cathy, Ted, Wanda I, several other Govern- ment students got to watch TV next door in Mrs. looker’s room. I really did have to go to the rest room. It was only a little out of the way to peek in at April Lori typing, Chlo in Spanish class, and Fran June in the library. At the end of second period, Kat- rina, Deanna, I took fruit around to sell. Darrell lee G. bought four bananas each. I’ll refrain from making a comment. I think I went to geography 9

English, but I can’t really remember anything until the noon bell rang. Clyde nearly knocked me over as he headed out the back door for the caf- eteria. I could only go half speed in my high heels, so I ended up behind Carson, Glen, Dave S. Further up the line, Kent was expounding loudly. Over at a table, Perry, Randy, Kevin, Mike B., Wyatt, Fred were shovel- ing it in, so they could get in line for seconds. It took exactly 3 minutes for lunch, and then everybody headed uptown for more goodies. Brenda Terri G. bribed Dale into giving them a ride. At Ryan's, Nora was stealing Dave W. 's hat, and Dale Ann was going to work. On the other side of the street, Fatty was walking Cindy S. to work, and both were giggling like crazy over some secret joke. Myma, Julie, Jodi, I were head- ed for the Drug Store when we saw Jack B. coming towards us with his camera. Back at the school, Shane H. was throwing snowballs at everybody, and we could hear Jeff H. ’s unique laugh while we were still over by the grade school. We met Jenny going over there to TA. As I started inside, I saw Jim pinch Holly and was so shocked, I ran right into David F. All he said was, Oh, 11
