SEARS DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT THESE DIE-HARDS! Back Row-Mike Trumbo, David Saylor, Elsie Cowin, Barb Harbaugh, LeAnn Buffington, Ross Lehner. Front Row-Kent Hunter, Keith Fogle, Kelly MacDonald, Michael Guesanburu, Shelley Fogle. ■AAA A whole quarter so they could bring their conduct grades up from a D- to an A. Glenn had told us that whoever wore a dress or a tie, girls and boys respectively, every day for a quarter, would get an A in Conduct. Not everything w'e did that year was destructive. We visited the Freedom Train in Billings and behaved like well-mannered children. We even managed to look quite civilized when the day of Graduation rolled around,, and received our diplomas with all the grace we could possibly muster up. Freshmen Initiation changed some of our classmates from being ornery to just plain crazy, like when Barb and Kelly sat on the road the day of Initiation, causing tourists to slow down considerably to See the sights of Montana. It seemed Cotton wanted to stay little be- cause he came in on a tricycle. Michael must have en- joyed whitewashing the J because he ended up with more whitewash on him than on the J. Initiation must have really freaked Lynn C. out because she forgot to get on the bus in Billings during a Speech meet and a Patrolman brought her to Hardin where the rest of the kids were. We sort of straightened up long enough our Junior year to raise money to put on a nice prom, the theme being, Tonight’s The Night. Now that we are Seniors, we have initiated the Freshmen with as much zest as any Senior before us. We are now all anxiously waiting for May 11, which is Graduation.
