They were Johnny Mumion, Bob O'Connor, Glenda Cooley, Mary Ann Chisholm, Gary Uthaug, Jerrlyn Viall, Rubie Euell, John Pangbum, Noreen Hinther, Kathleen Wallace, Don Lufborough, Linda Wilson, Agnes Beard, Nelene Hallberg, Edwin Olson and Arvid Ronning. Mrs. Patterson started us on our long road of education. Our first eight years of school passed quickly with much excitement. Before we knew it the fall of 59 arrived and there were 35 scared little freshmen ready to enter high school. Thery were Joyce McWilliams, Rubie Euell, Bob O'Connor, Nelene Hallberg, Dave Barclay, Glen Bollinger, Alice Clark, Mary Ann Chisholm, Catherine Crane, Bill FitzGerald, Donna FitzGerald, Pat Fitz- gerald, Glenn Hafla, Myron Barnes, Larry Hellyer, Noreen Hinther, Adonna Lilienthal, Don Lufborough, Bill Meckel, Bonnie Milroy, Dorothy Mack, Jerry Micheal, Joe Mumion, John Mumion, Mike McKeever, Edwin Olson, Gary Schmidt, Sam Schwindt, Linnea Strandburg, Judd Twitchell, Gary Uthaug, Jerrlyn Viall, Kath- leen Wallace, Betsy Whitmer, and Linda Wilson. We missed out on initiation as a new custom of wearing beanies had been introduced the preceding year. Mr. Singer was elected to be our class sponsor. The seniors gave a dance in our honor to help us get acquainted and we in turn sponsored one for them. As sophomores we selected Mr. LeBrun for our sponsor. When we were juniors we chose Mr. Halverson to be our sponsor and with his help we gave the Junior-Sen- ior banquet and prom. The theme of our prom was Fairyland Romance. This year we presented our first class play, Our Town , under the direction of Mr. Keams. ft was a huge success. Before we knew it we were seniors with only one year left before us. Mr. Perry was our class sponsor. We chose a 3-act mystery-comedy, Man Overboard , for our play this year. Mrs. Watt was our director. Under the experienced guidance of Mr. Halverson we also produced this Remuda. After a sneak through Montana we returned for our commencement and baccalaureate exercises. Out of the 35 who entered high school only twenty-six remained to graduate. They were Gary Uthaug, Jerrlyn Viall, Rubie Euell, Noreen Hinther, Nelene Hallberg, Edwin Olson, Bob O'Connor, Joe Mumion, Mike McKeever, Joyce McWilliams, Pat Fitzgerald, Linnea Strandberg, Bill Meckel, Adonna Lilienthal, Sam Sch- windt, Catherine Crane, Alice Clark, Larry Hellyer, Bonnie Milroy, Judd Twitchell, Donna Hageman, Don Lufborough, Gary Schmidt, Dorothy Mack, Jerry Micheal, and Bill FitzGerald. Of these twenty-six only six were together all 12 years. They were Rubie Euell, Noreen Hinther, Jerrlyn Viall, Nelene Hallberg, Don Lufborough, and Bob O'Connor. SPONSORED BY JACKS CORNER CONOCO TI RES-BATTER I ES-GREAS I NG-WASHI NG 22 THE CLASS PROPHECY TEN YEARS AGO? Yes, ten years ago the graduation class of 63 disappeared from G. C. H. S. Last week Nelene Hallberg and 1, Adonna Lilienthal, were having tea at my house when we decided to call all of our classmates and find out what they were doing. The few classmates that live here in Jordan are Don Lufborough, who now runs the Liquor Store and his daily customer is Joe Murnion, who is very disgusted because he can't make a profit off his donkeys and his wife Linnea Strandberg keeps nagging at him. Bill Meckel is also living here and has become a millionaire by raising and selling his pigs. We called Sam Schwindt in Florida and he said that he owned a swimming pool and his wife, Dorothy Mack, is the beautiful lifeguard. Their cook, Jerry Michael, was enjoying a few hours in the swimming pool. Larry Hellyer, Gary Schmidt, and Sonny Olson now own the largest film company, HSO, and have changed their names to Harry, Swartz, and Onery Oscar. Most of their comedies are of them and Jerrlyn Viall runs the cameras for them. Everyone knows Alice Clark is the President of the Saturday Evening Post and her main topic is Glen Bollinger, who is a movie star and an idol of all females. Since it was getting late we made a phone call to Dr. Catherine Crane in Africa so it wouldn't cost us so much. Her husband, Rubie Euell was out experimenting on their kangaroos, so he could become a vet. Donna Hageman and her husband, Bob, own the Pioneer Garage here in Jordan, Bob does the mechanicing while Donna and her little ones-five are squirting gas. Bonnie Milroy is an airline stewardess on the TWA. Mike McKeever is married to Noreen Hinther and is doing well on their black angus ranch in Texas. Noreen told us that Judd was riding broncs in the big rodeos and at Austin he was thrown from his bronc and broke both legs and is now unable to hold the World Championship. There were two classmates we were unable to call: Glenn Hafla, who is still hotrodding, is somewhere at a race. Bill FitzGerald, who was always getting into trouble, is now sheriff and was out chasing Bobby O'Connor for stealing hub caps. Gary Uthaug, Nelene's husband and coach of the Harlem Globe Trotters, and his star player, Pat Fitzgerald, have just knocked on my door. Gary asked Nelene, coach of the Harlem Chics, to hurry so Joyce McWilliams, Nelene's main player, could get some practice in before they played the Jordan Sweethearts. Adonna, who was married soon after she graduated, was left by me, Nelene Hallberg because she was going to give piano lessons and most of her students were her six. How true it may be, no one knows; but what ever profession each chooses may he be a great success. We wish everyone the best of luck.
