Memoir To him who in the love of Nature holds Communion with her invisible form she speaks a various language. Robert Mihalek held that communion with Nature and with his Maker to whom he has departed. By the number of his firends, however, and their sincere appreciation of his presence, Robert Mihalek also communicated with mankind. When the bell tolled for Robert, it tolled for all of us because when he died, a part of all of us died too. So live that when thy summons comes to join That mysterious caravan which moves to that Mysterious realm where each shall take his chamber In the silent halls of death, thou go not, like The quarry slave at night, scourged to his dungeon, But, sustained and soothed by an unfaltering trust, Approach thy grave, like one who wraps the drapery Of his couch about him, and lies down to pleasant Dreams.
