BLA CK HI All is fair was the theme for the 1979 Black History Month. This theme was chosen, because black history is a part of everyone which includes every race. All ls Fair was also the title of the play which was presented at Garey and at other schools in Po- mona. This play dealt with today's fast moving world, including inter- racial marriages and gangs. Mod- ern dance was used to express the ideas and problems of the play. Other events that were held dur- ing Black History Month included fashion pageants, talent shows, and a carnival.
