Dr. Craven Edward Williams Dr. Craven Edward Williams, the ninth president of Gardner- Webb College, is a dedicated individual to all functions of growth and deveTopment of Gardner-Webb. He began this year by execut- ing the challenges proposed last year such as raising standards, both academically and spiritually. Dr. Williams stressed the importance of a one to one relationship between administration, faculty, and students. Found in all kind of places — football games, basketball games, student cafeteria, chapel — Dr. Williams shows his desire to be involved in his job, not just to hold a position. A humorous, friendly, likable man who displays a character of true interest in both student and faculty. Dr. Craven Wil- liams is striving to help make Gardner-Webb a better college.
