Gardner-Webb is a Junior College ofFering accredited courses toward degrees in any profession which requires college training as a background. The preparatory possibilities are virtually unlimited. The added value of personal instruction is a vital part of Gardner- Webb. Without the guidance of the administration and capable leaders, the academic life would suffer. Garnder-Webb is accredited by the highest accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools ; and it is an active member of the American Association of Junior Colleges, the Carolina College Conference, and the American Coun- cil on Education. Gardner-Webb boasts of an academic program well organized. The Department of Guidance at Gardner-Webb is as unique as it is active, offering personal guidance to every student who desires it. Gardner-Webb has an interesting and balanced athletic program for both men and women. The college offers cultural stimulants in the Department of Fine Arts and Vocational Arts, and all the education at Gardner-Webb has its roots in Christianity.
