The first two contestants who are teachers from Gardner High School and 01d school chums, are Elaine Hakey and Barbara Hayes. Elaine is a World and American History teacher while Barbara is a music director and P. E. Teacher. They will sing Cry. The next contestant is a secretary for a millionaire, Miss Mary Lou Compasso. She will sing l'm In the Money. We now change the channel to 9 and as we are waiting for the next feature, a com- mercial is being done by none other than our old senior sponsors, Mr. Black, who is advertising for Nashes and Mr. Wilhelm, who seems to be advertising for Buicks. Now there seems to be a squabble as to the better car. E-gads, it is getting to be a free for 311, Quickly we change to another channel and find the roller derby in progress with Richard Wilson and Bill l-lowland, Joint owner. Mr. Howland is also the chief instructor gf astronomy at Illinois University. As we swing the camera around in the audience we see seated in the front row a well known doctor, Miss Nadine Burklow and her able nurse, Wanda Reader. It is getting very late so we must turn off the set and hope the future of the gradu- ating class of 1952 becomes as successful as here aforesaid, but before we retire let us turn back to channel 9 and see how the fight is going. Well it must not have been much of a contest for they are carrying Mr. Wilhelm out on a stretcher. With the ex- ception of Mr. Black's puffed eye, he seems to be in good condition.
