His ambition and quiet manner are sure to be his trade- mark in whatever he does. Carol Ann Dorval 42 Main Street We all know Dorval by her jokes and laughs. She has been one of the merriest in the class of '59. Dorval is truly a likeable person and will surely do well in the teaching profession Softball 1, 2, 3, 43 Volleyball 2, 33 Clubs: Drama 4, Senior Play Committee 4. Alan Robert Duplacy 21 Marquette Street Alan is a quiet boy who is very well liked at G. H. S. He is planning to attend trade school.

Robert Edward Dill Hind's Pond Bob is one of our outstanding athletes whether it be in football, swimming or track. Next year he would like to attend college and become a physical education teacher. With his ability, he should become an excellent one. Dolores Ann Desmond Lakewood Park, Westminster Dolly is a cheerful, peppy miss who is noted for her giggle. When you can't find her playing basketball or soft- ball, you can bet that she is riding around in her green Studebaker. With her personality, Dolly is sure to End success at the I. B. M. Training center in Hartford. Softball 3, 4, Basketball 43 Clubs: Drama 43 Senior Play Committee 4. Ronald Coleman Dobson 143 Washington Street Witty, talented, intelligent and friendly-that's Ronnie. How this young man keeps so many irons in the fire is more than we are able to comprehend. The Gardner Trust Company will lose a good man when Mr. Dobson begins his engineering studies at college next fall. Argus Literary Board 4, Argus Write-up Committeeg Clubs: Mathematics 3, 4, Music 3g Band 3, 4, All-Central Massachusetts Band 4, Football 2, Manager 2, Senior Play, Pro Merito 3, 4. Lillian Jane Doiron 155 Leamy Street Lillian has been one of Gardner's best lady swimmers for several years. As New England backstroke champion in 1956 as well as a performer on our girl's teams, she is certainly off to a good start in her chosen field of teacher- coaching. Arthur Emil Duverger 351 South Main Street Art is a tall, likeable fellow whom we shall all miss. He intends to work during the summer and then enlist in the Air Force. This jovial young man has won many friends at G. H. S. He is thinking of joining the U. S. Coast Guard after graduation. Camera Club 4. Patricia Anne Duteau 199 Main Street Pat has been very active at G. H. S. for the past four years. Her attractive appearance and pleasant-sounding voice have helped her to be popular among her classmates. Next year she plans to attend Fitchburg State Teachers College. Argus Business Board 4, Argus Jokes Board 3, Class Volleyball 3, Clubs: Future Teachers 2, 3, 45 French 4g Foreign Policy 3. Diane D. Duxbury West Main Street, Westminster Diane is a newcomer to the class of 1959 from Pitts- field and already she has made many new friends. We all wish her the best in the future years.
