He will also be remembered for fhe many ihings he did for his communi'l'y. He was fhe Presidenl' of The Kiwanis Club of Gardena: fhe official pianisl' for fhe Masonic Educafional Club of Los Angeles and fhe organis+ of fhe Masonic Lodge Number 372 in Gardena. Mr. Freeman had a sudden and unfimely dealh in March of ihis year which broughi' sorrow and grief fo all who lcnew him. Since his arrival in I928 Mr. Moore has acfed as draff ing insfrucfor and boys' adviser. He had been fhe able sponsor of fhe Knighfs, a boys' service organizafion. VERA DE SAMBAD Mrs. Vera De Sambad has held fhe posifions of feach er and chairman of fhe Commercial Deparfmenf for al mosf fwenfy years. She was also one of fhe original spon sors of fhe Las Laureas, a girls service organizafion. Mrs. De Sambad, a graduafe of fhe Universify of Soufhern California, is a slcilled musician as well as a capable feacher.
