What with the two issues of the Star; publicity for the Operetta and Music Committee, we have been kept quite lusy. I would like to thank the business communities of Winkler and Plum Coulee for having helped with the new lea of advertising in the Star. The advertising was headed by Doug Friesen. I would like to extend my thanks to the lembers of the committee and to all the others who helped us during the year. Drama Committee Report This year of 1968-1969 has been a rather hectic one for the Drama Committee. Our one big production o| year, “The Pirates of Penzance”, turned out to be a smashing success, much to the relief of Mr. Hiebert.l Hiebert was director of this operetta and Mrs. T. Kehler worked with choreography. To mention all the people who helped with the operetta would take several pages, as we would have to met! the audiences as well. All in all, after the problems and headaches were cleared away, 1 think this year has been quite an enjoy one. Thank-you to all those involved with the operetta, and especially to my committee.
