RAY DOELL Ray our friendly cyclist from Xl-R, finds homework and books bis pet peeves. In winter you ' ll find him on a ski-doo and in summer he ' ll be gone on his 305. DOROTHY ELIAS Dorothy hails from Haskett. Her favourite pastimes are reading, cooking, skating, and bowling. Her aim is to leave the spacious halls of Garden Valley Collegiate and become a teacher. JOCELYN ENNS Jocelyn is an active cheerleader. She tries hard in school but sometimes finds sleeping of greater value. Biology is important but a boy also requires a lot of attention. KAREN ENNS Karen is a fun loving girl who enjoys the great outdoors. Her future lies in teaching or social work. Other interests include music, orchestra, parties, and driving the car. MARILYN FAULKNER Marilyn’s future lies in becoming an educated beachcomber. In history, Marilyn will never go unnoticed. Her pet peeve is briefcases in front of her locker. LINDA GOERTZEN Linda comes from Reinfeld. She finds schoolwork easy and thus always has time to fool around. Favourite pastimes — driving car, reading and skating. Future plans — entering Teachers College. YVONNE HARDER Yvonne is a studious girl. She loves sports, and her specialty is horseback riding. Her pet peeve is childish boys. In the future she intends to become a nurse. BRIAN HILDEBRAND Brian is always lusty and cheerful. He Is full of jokes and funny remarks. His future is undecided. Brian is very industrious and participates in most school activities. DOLORES HILDEBRAND Dolores is a very cctive girl. She is our room rep. and has many smashing ideas. Loving singing, she is a member of the choir and has a part in the operetta. She plays volleyball and curls. BEV KUHL Bev ' s Interests lie in the male population. KATHY SIEMENS Kathy is an active member of the yearbook committee. Her interests range from music and spares to boys and chemistry??!! She likes arguing and her pet peeve is a certain M.F. ALMIRA THIESEN Almira is an active curler. Her interests range from literary and sports to choir and boys. Pet Peeve — math. Future plans — teaching. GENERAL 205 BARB DYCK Barb is an ambitious student who comes from Schoenwiese. Usually overflowing with laughter she frowns when it comes to Chemistry. During the weekend you ' ll seldom find her at home. MARVIN DYCK Marv ' s the biggest guy in class and proves it every day. He’s never home on weekends because he’s driving around in their Vauxhall. He dislikes Chemistry and History. VIC FALK Vic is the long haired strobe light operator for a certain group. He goes wild when he hears that “Keep on Running’’ beat. He’s wild on weekends but cool in school. BRENDA FEHR Brenda enjoys volleyball and Monday through Friday rather cheerleading. Her interest lies in weekends, and finds boring. She hopes to go into Nurse’s Training. SHIRLEY FEHR Shirley is a cheerful girl who is alwcys willing to help her classmates with homework. She is an assistant Librarian and enjoys singing in choir. DAVE ENNS Dave “the one eyed wonder is like the coolest on sax when he belts out the blues. He likes cycles, driving big rigs, and goes to Roland as often as possible. KEN FRIESEN Ken Friesen is a very hard working lad who works in the Co-op store. One of his best subjects is Chemistry and his worst is Phys. Ed. RICHARD GIESBRECHT Rick is our Literary Rep. He participates in and loves all sports, although hockey-soccer is his favourite. His time is spent riding his cycle and playing guitar. 33
