COMMERCIAL 204 MARY FRIESEN Our drama rep. is short and sweet, enjoys sewing, deluxe burgers, reading, fooling around, and of course weekends which she has under “control”?? Her favourite subjects are Business Law and Machines. 12W is not the same without this vivacious strawberry blonde. Her ambition is to travel to Europe and see all the “sites . NETTIE KLASSEN Nettie is attending G.V.C.I. for her last year. She is the Literary Representative for 12W. Her main ambition is to finish high school and then take up a job in the line of secretarial work. Her favourite subjects are Business Law and Typing. SHIRLEY KLASSEN What gives our classroom some spirit? Unquestionably, this must be Shirley, our shapely, blue-eyed, dark-haired librarian with the most genuine smile you can find anywhere. Office Practice, Shorthand, and Typing, are among her favourite subjects. To be chased around a desk in an air-conditioned office by the most handsome boss, is her goal. The most of her weekend is spent with that “special someone. VIOLA LETKEMAN Viola is our red-haired representative to the sports committee. She is also the one who takes care of the concession booth at the local basketball games. She enjoys having literature with a certain teacher downstairs, but her mind wavers and her freckles begin to dance when Business Law is mentioned. Her main ambition at the present time is to have a cheese burger and a milk shake every weekend. IRENE PETERS Being the top student in the Grade XII commercial class, Irene is undoubtedly GVCI ' s most capable secretary. She’d be apt to get more than her share of exercise running around her boss’s desk, too. July will find her in beautiful British Columbia and when she returns in fall, she plans to attend the C.M.B.C. in Winnipeg. EILEEN SAWATSKY We’re sorry to say Nothing was said; So needless to say. Naught can be read. MILDRED DYCK Mildred is our room rep. for Newspaper and Publicity. She is also head of its Typing Committee and attends choir regularly. Among her favourite subjects are Economics and Office Practice which will prepare her for an office job which she hopes to get next year.
