i OFQLUOI' FB With the closing of this school year, we approach new and unlimited horizons. lt is with deep pride and admiration, that we, the Spartanus staff present this second edition of our yearbook. In reflecting briefly, we see many prob- lems still confronting us but we know, too, that only we can solve those problems. Next year we envelop ourselves with new surroundings but we know that the same traditions, desires, hopes, and achievements will still follow us to our new surroundings. Recorded within these pages for posterity are some of the very basic elements of our days at Garden Spot High School. Although no book can really capture the spirit and the ac- tivities of our students, we feel that we have attempted to meet that challenge in a realistic manner. LINDA I.
