Guid- ance, promotion of better friendship, leadership, and character are the goals of this organization. Under the sponsorship of Mrs. Eileene LaBarthe, Girls' League strives to develop among the girls a spirit of cooperation, high ideals, courtesy, and consideration of others, in addition to giving a fuller social life and appreciation of both school and community. lilllll' llllllll Numerous activities were under the direction and spon- sorship ot the Girls' League throughout the year. These included the Girl-of-the-Month good-grooming awards, mother and daughter fashion show and tea, Big and Little Sister Day, and the Co-Ed Dance. Girls' League was also responsible for the dress control program, wel- come committees, making and distributing Girls' League League handbooks, selling programs and ushering at games, and selling beanies.
