G. is Mrs. Bertha Collins to whom the 1950 Argonaut is dedicated. Ma, as she is commonly known, is seen every day around the campus doing her job of keeping the classrooms clean. As custodian she has served behind the scenes continuously since 1924. Many school events were made successful because of her work behind the scenes. In appreciation for the great and unselfish service she has rendered, the class of 1950 respectfully dedicates this year's Argonaut to Mrs. Bertha Collins. E A YQ? sw, , . A DR. LEROY L. Lowell was chosen principally on the basis of his high attitude rating. Throughout his high school life he participated in numerous sports. He also was active in dramatics. Lowell well merits this honor. IXIXIXIXIXIXIXIX A high attitude rating and active participation warrant Carolyn Fury to be the most worthy girl Argonaut of the 1950 class. During her Iunior year as president of the Girls' League and editor of the Argolog, Carolyn was a most diligent worker. In her Senior year she assumed full responsibility as assistant editor of the Argonaut. Also through- out her school life dramatics and sports took much of her time. Carolyn indeed well deserves this great honor. NOMINEES FOR MOST WORTHY ARGONALIT Carolyn Fury, Lowell Catlin, Pat Mattoori, Bill Starkey, Ianet Cardiol, Burns Srigley.
