SENIORS CLASS OFFICERS FIRST SEMESTER Marilyn Kellogg, Bill Rogers. Evaline Callen SECOND SEMESTER Bill Rogers. Mollie Doig, Stanley Bauer Registration day this year caught the class of 414 turning into the home stretch, determined to blaze a name for themselves in their last year to- gether. At the beginning of the year they won the first war bond contest and earned funds for the Annual by staging a drive for waste paper. On color day a minority group of Seniors thoroughly trounced the J uniors by dragging them through the mud two times in a row. A highlight of the year was the Senior Play tiMy Sister Eileen.H Under the direction of Mrs. Knowlton, it proved to be a solid success. Their competi- tive assembly failed to be a winner, but their acting ability was upheld by several of their number who participated in the Student Body Play. The traditional Senior ttDitch Daytt was carried out with the utmost secrecy; the other classes finding out about it only When the seniors failed to show up for the first period classes. Baccalaureate on June 4th and commencement exercises on June 8th for- mally concluded the senior year of the class of 1944. PAGE 1 8
