H. S. includes students from all the classes. Some of these students are accomplished young artists while others are beginners. All are dedicated to ideals and principles of the oldest of the cultural ar expression of feeling through color, line and perspective. These students have used several of the media but the most popular have been pastels, charcoal, water color, oil and pencil. The outstanding artists of the group are recognized by membership in the t Fine Arts Honor Society. The students honored this year are: Dorothy French, Shirley French and Don Haddix. The Achievement Day Art display affords the opportunity for a public display of their talents and brings to them a merited commendation from the patrons of the school.

The Dramatics Club of Garden County High School offers an opportunity for experience in the language arts. The students are given the opportunity to learn to express themselves through plays, humorous, oratorical, dramatic, and extemporaneous speeches. Students also gain experience in Stage-craft and management. The Annual Dramatics Carnival was presented March 6th. and was sponsored by the Dramatics Club. Mr. Bob Nicholas is adviser to this group.
