Morrow, D. Haddix. A nose for news, hard work, sympathy, an understanding of people, and a sense of humor are a few of the requirements for a reporter. The Eagle Beakon being eagerly poured over by the subscribers is mute testimony of the success of the staff. The official paper contains a monthly record of activities, educational news, personality reviews, poetry, and humorous columns compiled by the journalism class. Editor of the paper is Katherine Albee, Harold Keenan is business manager, and Joe Vogler is sports editor. The entire class under the supervision of Mr. Nicholas acts as reporters and makeup artists.

Olson, Under new direction the Boys' Glee Club has done much to improve this vocal group at G. C. H. S. Having only twenty-three boys in it, they have done very well wherever they have sung. During the year they participated in the Christmas Pageant, the District Vocal Clinic at Grant, the S. P. V. A. Vocal Clinic at Big Springs, and the Spring Concert at G. C. H. S. Mr. Graham is the director of the Boys' Glee Club.
