County Government Day On February 2nd G. C. H. S. students held their final campaign convocation. Speeches were given by all campaign managers and candidates. There was much confusion as the Nationalists and Federalists tried to outdo each other with noise makers and yelling. One committee for each party made up lyrics to several songs and those were sung during the program. Several Nationalist students had a card section and also read poems about different Nationalists members running for office. Federalist band members added to the excitement with snappy band numbers.
