McCord, B. Orr, J. Robinson, S. Tinkham, J. Johnson A student while attending school has many opportunities to be recognized for outstanding work. Perhaps the highest and hardest achievement to attain is membership in the National Honor Society. . This group was organized in 1948. Those accepted for membership proved outstanding in scholarship, service, character, and leadership. This organization requires highest standards and gives members a high goal for which to strive. We feel that these selected students are truly the leaders of our school and will continue to be leaders throughout their lives. uill and Scroll . , ,, . , hl..'lH.l'. lx. Alb' 1-, nr. Ninn-Inns. lx. There was much confusion as the Nationalists and Federalists tried to outdo each other with noise makers and yelling. One committee for each party made up lyrics to several songs and those were sung during the program. Several Nationalist students had a card section and also read poems about different Nationalists members running for office. Federalist band members added to the excitement with snappy band numbers.
