Page 4 DEDICATICD A truly great teacher is one ot the most intluentia promoters of a lite- theme ot paramount importance, the Present. To a line lady vvho can be considered no less than a truly great teacher, vve do dedicate ouryearbook. She imparts her vast vvealth ot knowledge upon her students always in rela- tion to the Present. While the subject matter which she handles rarely per- tains to the events ot today, it is at all times transposed to the Present tor us by her skillful teaching methods. Not as spectators who are setaloof in time and in place, but as participants do vve see and hear events take place. She makes us understand people and happenings ot the past because she equates them vvith people and happenings ot the Present. Furthermore, her firm but just demands impel us to vvork and to learn, her charm and her vvit incite us to vvork and to learn. Her very personality and character stir in us a deep respect and a warm esteem tor her.
