The fabulous Class of ,57 helped set another new record this year. one which concerned the P.T.AX. Show. ltis the first y'ear in history' that the Madame didn't threaten to quit. The out- come? One of the best presentations on record. The show. the Pirates of Penzancef' offered Gee Cee's collegiate boys a chance to grow sidehurns and paint tattoos on their chests. Have you seen the line-up outside the home ec room? Theyire Mr. Kingis hungry' second-period athletes awaiting Miss Yirtue's second-period cookies tchocolate chip. of course.l The Senior Dinner Dance was held this year at the White Monkey' Clubi' lin the cafeteria! on March 29. Highlights of the evening were the entertainment put on by' the parents and the announcement of the winners of the Faculty- Photo Contest. Guest of honor at the dance yy as Indian Mascot 32 of the fahulous Class of '51 The seniors did it againfthey' established an- other tirst with a Hdo it yourself mascot. Alert hiology students had the opportunity to view survival of the quickesti' on one spring day' yy hen a pair of mallard ducks invaded the court- yard pond. It was reported that several goldfish were found missing after the ducks moved on to fresher water. The highpoint of the AFS Dance was the an- nouncement of the four summer exchange schol- arship winners. A note of thanks to the 'gSaints who donated the music for the evening. As we hurry' off to the printer. most seniors have contracted noticeable cases of senioritis.i' and are anxiously' awaiting Easter vacation to he followed by' Career Night. the Student Coun- t-il elections. the Father-Daughter Party, the Masquers' play. the G.A.A. and BAA. Banquets. and finally' Senior Week. the Prom. and Gradu- ation. Son of Slokikum rides again. Don't shoot 'til you see the tight in their eyes. s

g .JW Snow Queen melts vool pri-wie at liall. Mr. Kollar grinning as he works. While the readers hattle with their lisps. the rest of the school attempts to identify' them by their characteristic twangs and accents. At the Madame's suggestion, three senior boys gave an assembly on the principles of the fine art of spear fishing. Thanks to the sense of humor of a certain senior twin, the technicalities of the sport proved interesting and entertaining. Everyone enjoyed watching the surprised ex- pressions on the faces of the new inductees at this yearls Honor Society Assembly on March 13th. They say this was the first induction cere- mony in Gee Ceeis history that went off without a hitch. Hats off-another record set by the Class of 57.
