Mr. jones teaches English II and III, and Mr. Light teaches English to the Freshmen and Sophomores. Math is also taken by everyone. Algebra I, Geo- metry, Algebra II and Eighth Grade math is taught by Mr. Canafax. Introductory to Algebra I and II is taught by Mr. McKin. Mr. Putman teaches Seventh Grade math. 1. Mr. jones uses an overhead projector to illustrate a point in English. 2. Donna Plagens works hard while she is in English, doesn't she? 3. Mr. Canafax after a long day checks some test.

Mr. McKinnon's junior American History class and Mr. Jones's senior Civics class held debates, in honor of the debates between Mr. Ford and Mr. Carter. 1. This audience scene of the debates show the enthu- siasm of the school, and especially of the two classes involved. 2. Janice Fowler and Cindy Thomason campaign for their candidate, jimmy Carter. 3. Journalism The Journalism staff has really been busy this year. The four Ituaiors on the staff have put out a bi- weekly newspaper, the Bearkat Express, in addition to doing their part of the annual. The Journalism department processed their own pictures this year. Greg Frerich, Junior Herrera, and Lance Johnson did this part of the work. 1. Greg Frerich adjust the enlarger in the dark room in preparation for developing a picture. 2. Linda Schwartz works on her layouts for the annual. 3. Donna Faye Lister stops her work on the newspaper for a picture.
