l lnvolved is only one of many adjectives which describe Dr. Thomas Saffell who assumed the position of President of the college after the resignation of Dr. Raymond Wamsley. Dr. Saffell showed an interest in the community, as well as the college, since he was formerly Superintendent of Garden City public schools. Dr. Saffell served students and faculty well during his tirst year. He took time to participate in student activitiesg he was receptive to other administrators and faculty members. It is with this kind of involvement that our college can continue to become an even greater institution of higher learning. CD Dr. Saffell explains a report to'Trustee Harold Kleysteuber.
